Welcome to the University of Birmingham Women in Finance Society Page!
Our mission is to empower students (both male and female) and provide them with support and guidance to help them realise their full potential in pursuing a career in finance and professional services. We aim to create a supportive network of like-minded individuals consisting of both students and leading firms in the industry. This year’s President of the society is male so we don't want anyone to ever not attend our events as they feel they'd be left out, everyone is welcome.
For the academic year 2018/19, we’ve had events with The Bank of England, HSBC, Lloyds, EY, Wesleyan and more, as well as a partnership with Bright Network. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to network and speak to people from all firms at our events.
