ScienceMuseumLates 300x300

Professor David Hannah and Professor Jeremy Pritchard have each presented at the Science Museum Lates event on 27 March.

The event was a special collaboration between the Science Museum and UNESCO UK that explored the work they do to make the world a better place.

Professor David Hannah is  UNESCO Chair in Water Sciences at the University of Birmingham.  The session he led was entitled 'Pioneering Ways to Solve Wicked Water Problems', and looked at transformative ways to the tackle high water security threats suffered by 80% of the world's population.

Professor Jeremy Pritchard's session was called 'Climate Change: water and carbon cycles' where he described the BIFoR FACE experiment which aims to find out how an increase in atmospheric CO2 is changing the balance between water loss and CO2 uptake.
