A team at the University of Birmingham’s School of Cancer Sciences and the CRUK Clinical Trials Unit is looking for volunteers for a study aiming to improve the outcome of stem cell transplantation for blood cancers.

The study is evaluating the use of a vaccine to generate immune cells that may kill blood cancer cells expressing a protein called HA-1.

If you are male, aged ≥ 18 years of age and in good health, please go to ciic.org.uk for more information or contact Shamyla Siddique at HA1@trials.bham.ac.uk Tel: +44 (0)121 371 4396.

Participants will be paid compensation for reasonable travel expenses and a payment if they take part. The study will require several short visits to an outpatient clinic in Birmingham. A response to this advertisement will be recorded but carries no obligation to take part. If you volunteer, you can withdraw at any time from the trial.
