Loan sets of fossils, minerals and rocks are available for educational use. If you would like to discuss your requirements and how we can help you, please contact the museum.
The Lapworth Lectures take place on certain evenings during University term time. These lectures on popular geological subjects are aimed at students, the general public and amateur enthusiasts.

The Lapworth Museum organises several weekend day schools during the year. These cover popular geological topics and are usually based around collections in the museum, and provide an opportunity to see material not normally on display. Occasional day schools involving field trips within the region are also organised. Please contact the museum for further details. Charges apply for Day Schools.
The museum provides a free identification service for geological items. Please contact the museum for further details.
