Learn all about our distant relatives, fascinating ancient fish, and how they ate at our family fun day on Wednesday 18th February (10am-4pm).

Join us to explore ancient teeth and jaws by handling fossils from the Museum collections, listen to fantastic scientific talks about the evolution of jaws and eating, complete fun activity booklets, do some colouring in and more.

This event links to our current temporary exhibition, Feeding Without Jaws, which ends on 28th February 2026. The exhibition is free to visit as part of your visit to the Museum.
