Our annual flagship event brings together researchers, clinicians, and industry partners from across the University and beyond. This year's theme, "From Ideas to Practice: Bringing Health Innovation into Action", explores how we move research from concept to real-world impact. A satellite workshop on 29 September at the Precision Health Technology Accelerator will focus on building entrepreneurial confidence in translational research.

A full day of insight and advice for University of Birmingham researchers looking to develop competitive applications to MRC translational funding schemes. The day features a keynote from the Medical Research Council on their translational funding strategy and opportunities, case studies from UoB researchers who have successfully secured MRC funding, and perspectives from review panel members on what makes a strong application. Attendees can also book one-to-one appointments with MRC representatives to discuss their planned proposals.
