Explorers

Your little one doesn’t have to attend one of our nurseries to have fun with us. Our Explorers sessions are open to all children and allow every child to enter a magical world of outdoor adventure at our award-winning Forest Schools in Birmingham.

Muddy Explorers
Book nowA stay-and-play group designed for young adventurers; Muddy Explorers gives children the chance to let their imaginations run wild and develop real-life skills at The Oak’s award-winning Forest School. From making mud pies, to getting up close and personal with nature on a Forest Trail and stopping off at our Fairy Village and Badger Bank, the adventures are endless. Muddy Explorers is suitable for children aged between six months and five years old.

Mini Explorers
Book under ones and under fivesAn outdoor playgroup for under ones to under fives. Nestled in Winterbourne House’s beautiful gardens, your little one will discover new sounds, smells and sights – essential to the development of young minds. These sessions aren’t all just about babies and children, it’s about parents too. That’s why when you join us, you’ll be part of a supportive friendly community. A great chance for you to get out and meet other parents, as well as see how much fun you can have as a family in the great outdoors.

Wild Explorers
Make the next school holidays memorable at Wild Explorers, Birmingham’s most exciting holiday camp. Nestled in seven acres of botanic garden and woodland, let the wild adventures begin. From wood whittling and den building to scavenger hunts and forest games, no two days are the same, as your children blow off steam in the great outdoors during the school holidays. Wild Explorers is suitable for children between four and eight years old.
