Student visas in Dubai

In line with United Arab Emirates (UAE) law and the University’s code of practice, all students must provide proof of their 'Right to Study' in the country for the duration of their studies. All international students (non-GCC nationals) must secure a University-sponsored student visa or provide proof of other visa sponsorship.
University sponsored visa
If you’re enrolling in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programme, you can apply for a student visa under the University’s sponsorship. This visa allows you to study and live in the UAE for 12 months, with annual renewals covering the duration of your programme.
Part-time students are not eligible for University sponsorship and must provide proof of an existing visa (e.g. parent-sponsored, employment, or other approved categories).
