Join the Translational Research Team at the 4th Birmingham Translational Research Symposium on Wednesday 30 September 2026 at the Edgbaston Park Hotel & Conference Centre. This year's theme is "From Ideas to Practice: Bringing Health Innovation into Action", an opportunity to connect with leading experts from across the University and beyond to inspire collaboration and strengthen our healthcare translational research community. Abstract submissions are now open for oral and poster presentations, with limited spaces available.
Attendees will hear from researchers working across the translational spectrum, showcase their own work through oral or poster presentations, and have the opportunity to network with colleagues, industry partners and request a meeting with the Translational Research Team to discuss their research further in a single space. The satellite workshop on 29 September offers a practical grounding in entrepreneurial thinking for those looking to translate their research into products, services, or spin-outs.
A satellite workshop will also take place on 29 September 2026 at the Precision Health Technology Accelerator (PHTA), focused on building entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in translational research.
This event is free to attend.
