Apply for time

HWB NMR logoUsers are welcome to apply for time on the NMR spectrometers on an hourly, daily or weekly basis through remote scheduling once they have registered.

Each category of user is asked to apply as described.

UK academic users currently have chargeable access to available time on the 1.0 GHz and 900 MHz spectrometers for peer-reviewed and internationally competitive research, and may also access the other NMR systems.

Please:

  1. Submit an Academic Access form (Word, 60 KB) for each new project.
  2. Visit or mail samples to Sara Whittaker.

Local Users are asked to:

  1. Submit an Academic Access form (Word, 60 KB) for each new project.
  2. Use the online booking system. 

Commercial clients are asked to:

  • Contact Vincent Coole - Contracts Manager (0121 414 9090) to set up the necessary agreements.
  • Visit or mail samples and other materials directly to Mark Jeeves or another member of the NMR staff.
