Intended to help address the imbalance of men and women in STEM subjects at the University, The Norwenflor Endowment provides financial support of £1,500 per academic year for up to 3 years. Applicants must meet the requirements of the University's Access to Birmingham scheme but should not have applied through the scheme.
The value of the award is £1,500 per academic year up to a maximum of 3 years. Renewal subject to progress summary being provided each academic year.
Who can apply?
- must be a female student
- be studying a STEM subject (or degree-course under-represented by women)
- must meet the requirements of the University's Access to Birmingham scheme
Students should be eligible for Home fees to apply for the award.
