Mailing lists

We have set up two mailing lists, one for users and developers, and one for those wanting to be informed of major news.

idynomics@lists.bham.ac.uk

This mailing list is intended for solving problems with installing, running, or using iDynoMiCS and any questions, requests, or issues you have with the code. This list will help us support you better, and allow you to help other users, and give us a sense of community.

idynomics-announce@lists.bham.ac.uk

The purpose of this mailing list is to communicate our progress with iDynoMiCS development more effectively to those who have considered using or might be tempted to using iDynoMiCS at some stage in the future, or are interested in anything to do with individual-based modelling.

This mailing list should be low traffic, so not too annoying! We will only announce significant developments, such as new releases or major improvements and publications.

How to subscribe to these mailing lists

If you want to subscribe, email majordomo@lists.bham.ac.uk with the following line of text in the body of the email “subscribe idynomics” or “subscribe idynomics-announce”. (There is no harm in putting the same text in the subject header of the email as well.)

How to post to these mailing lists

You can post to the appropriate list by emailing idynomics@lists.bham.ac.uk or idynomics-announce@lists.bham.ac.uk and your message will be sent to all subscribers of the list.

How to unsubscribe to these mailing lists

If you want to unsubscribe, email majordomo@lists.bham.ac.uk with the following line of text in the body of the email “unsubscribe idynomics” or “unsubscribe idynomics-announce”. (There is no harm in putting the same text in the subject header of the email as well.)

Any questions or problems, email j.kreft@bham.ac.uk
