Degree Congregations at the University of Birmingham date back to 1901 and are normally held in the Great Hall at the heart of campus. Attended by nearly 30,000 graduates and guests each year, these events are the highlight of the University calendar and represent for many students the conclusion of their studies at Birmingham.
