In addition to interactive lectures, you will have problem solving sessions, group work, extended research projects and throughout your first two years you will have small group tutorials to support your learning.
Social atmosphere and engaged students
The student led chemistry society, ChemSoc, runs numerous social, as well as career enhancing events, every term. The highlight of the ChemSoc year is the Annual Chemistry Ball, but there are lots of other events including termly social events, invited lectures and charity fundraising events.
