DISN staff nominated for Disability and Learning Support Services' Excellent Practice Award.

Drs Penny Lacey and Graeme Douglas together with Professor Mike McLinden have been nominated for the Disability and Learning Support Services' 2nd Excellent Practice Awards at the University of Birmingham

Dr Penny Lacey lead tutor on the Severe, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties programme, Dr Graeme Douglas and Professor Mike McClinden Co-directors of VICTAR and Alice Ellwood, programme Administrator for the Teachers of Children with Hearing Impairment programme have all been nominated for the Disability and Learning Support Services’ 2nd Excellent Practice Awards at the University of Birmingham. 

Students registered with the service were asked to nominate staff of the University they felt had been particularly helpful in ensuring that they had the best possible experience whilst at the University.

All nominees will be presented with a certificate by Professor Jeff Bale, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education at an informal presentation & buffet in December.
