Professor Jaggar is a College Professor of Distinction at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she holds a joint appointment between Philosophy and the Women and Gender Studies. She works in political, social and moral philosophy, often from a feminist perspective. In fact, she was one of the pioneers who introduced feminist concerns into philosophy and today she is considered to be one of the leading figures in feminist ethics. She has published close to 80 articles many of which are already classics: they have been cited hundreds of times, included in many anthologies and translated to a large number of different languages. Her most recent book is entitled Gender and Global Justice (Polity, 2014).
