The University of Birmingham has been ranked number one in the UK for Drama in The Complete University Guide 2017, joining our first place ranking for Drama in the latest Times and Sunday Times league table.
The league table examined factors such as student satisfaction, research quality and graduate prospects and awarded Birmingham the maximum overall score of 100.
The department offers the highest quality of training in all aspects of the study and making of theatre, from historical research and contemporary performance analysis, to the technique of the actor and imagination of the playwright, to the creative and technical skills of the lighting designer and stage manager.
