Linguists form college link in Singapore

The Department of English Language and Linguistics' Joe Bennett and Gareth Carrol visited Catholic Junior College in Singapore to promote the study of linguistics this month.
They delivered several workshops and lectures to students of English Language and Literature on their ‘Ignite’ programme.
Feedback from their first day there earlier this week has been incredibly positive – the students have found their lectures and workshops incredibly stimulating and Joe and Gareth have enjoyed their discussions with the students.
