Professor Julie Allan assists Belgian and Dutch Governments with disability rights compliance

Professor Julie Allan recently addressed a closed meeting convened by Unia – the interfederal centre for equal opportunities in Belgium – and the Netherlands Institute for Human Rights to consider how to conceptualise inclusive education in a way that conforms with the UN Convention of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. A series of Government recommendations and good practices were produced as the outcomes of the meeting.
