Staff are invited this year to bid for project funds that enhance the student experience under the following four themes taken from our HEFi19 Conference:

  • lifelong learning
  • tackling inequality
  • digital futures
  • employer-led learning.

We are inviting staff to bid for funds to deliver projects that will develop expertise in these key areas. Staff may apply individually or as part of a team, and we strongly encourage applicants to consider opportunities for collaboration with students and colleagues from other disciplines.

Education Enhancement Funding (EEF) aims to support innovative, evidence-based practices. As always, EEF projects must be designed to lead to clear outcomes and impact that can have benefits across more than one part of the University.

The deadline for applications to the EEF is Thursday 31st October, 2019 (12 noon).

Briefing sessions for prospective applicants are to be held on the following dates:

Tuesday 1st October (1-2pm) and Thursday 3rd October (12 – 1pm).

Staff are welcome to come and hear more about the fund, share their project ideas and form collaborations with colleagues and have their questions answered.

Further information and guidance, including the proposal form and contact details for the EEF team, are available from the EEF projects website.
