The “Decentering Epistemologies for Global Well-Being” Virtual Online International Collaborative Exchange (VOICE) has officially started.
The course is run as a joint partnership with Leiden University, Université Mohammed V de Rabat, University of Birmingham, University of Cologne, University of Nairobi and University of the Western Cape.
Over the next two months, 65 students coming from 17 different home countries, will critically explore contemporary issues related to environment, knowledge and intersectionality, and how these promote or affect well-being.
The students will interact and engage to develop collective case studies with the aim of exploring how well-being relates to the decolonisation agenda and how to guard against extractive or ‘parachute science’ between the Global North and South.
Further information on the project can be obtained from Madi Ditmars.
