Richardson family business scholarship will support future investment experts

Students aspiring to careers in the investment sector are being offered an opportunity to apply for Master’s scholarships in Birmingham Business School

Two scholarships have been funded by the Richardson Brothers Foundation that will be offered to academically excellent students with the aim of encouraging and developing talent in the sector.

The Richardsons lead an international investment business that has interests in multiple countries, including the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore as well as the UK and Europe.

The business was founded more than 70 years ago, in Oldbury, in the Black Country and the business portfolio, which has a focus on growth capital and real estate investment, is now embedded across the world.

Carl Richardson said: ‘We are excited to partner with the University of Birmingham and the Birmingham Business School in order to provide opportunities for promising entrepreneurs, wealth creators and risk takers, and to support their future contribution to a flourishing UK economy.

Successful applicants to the Richardson Family Future Talent in Investments Scholarship will receive a significant contribution towards their course tuition fees, as well as opportunities to apply for careers enhancing experiences at the Richardson business such as summer internship placements.
