The course will also include topics such as molecular pathology, advanced imaging techniques, new drug development and phase I/II clinical trials and will look at their increasing importance in the paediatric field. 70% of children survive a cancer diagnosis, and the importance of treatment toxicity, late effects and quality of life for survivors will also be discussed.
