iDesign research projectiDESIGN is an EU-funded European Industrial Doctorate Innovative Training Network involving The University of Birmingham (UK), Mercachem B.V. (The Netherlands) and AnalytiCon Discovery (Germany). This academic-industry partnership will train six PhD students to use cutting-edge organic synthesis to prepare bespoke compound libraries of structurally and functionally diverse, three-dimensional molecules with desirable physicochemical properties for drug discovery.

PhD studentship applications for iDesign organic synthesis research projects now open

The University of Birmingham has joined forces with industry partners in the Netherlands and Germany to launch iDesign, an EU-funded training network that will train students how to prepare bespoke structurally and functionally diverse, three-dimensional molecules with desirable physicochemical properties for drug discovery.
