Online Training Record and IFH Questionnaire

We would like to know when you have completed your IFH training. We would also like to know a little bit about you.

Please click on this link to log the ABA-feed training you have completed and complete a short questionnaire.

Once the ABA-feed trial office has received this survey (it is submitted electronically) and confirmed that you have completed your training, we will email you a user name and link to create a password. This user name and password will enable you to access the 'contacts log' to record each time you have been in touch with the women you are supporting. This can be done from your smart phone.

Logging Contacts

It is an important part of our research study that you record how often you are in contact with the women you are supporting. These contacts could be via phone call, text message, WhatsApp (or equivalent), video call or face-to-face. It is also important that you log when you have tried to contact a woman and she hasn’t responded as well as when she has. We would also like you to log when contact with each woman has stopped.

Please see below a link to the guidelines showing you how to log each contact you have with the women.

IFH Database guidelines

Please click here to see a short video on how to log a contact.

The link to the contacts log is here: Link coming soon!

Please click here to see a short video showing you what to do once contact with the women has stopped.

Uploading Friends & Family Diagram

When you complete a Friends & Family diagram with a woman, please scan the diagram (or take a photo of it on your smart phone) and upload it to our database.

Please click here to see a short video on how to upload the Friends & Family Diagram.

Assets Leaflets

The assets leaflets include information on your local community ‘assets’ (including antenatal or postnatal groups, breastfeeding drop-in centres, details of local breastfeeding counsellors and baby groups) as well as details of national helplines and internet resources. These are unique to the area you work in.

If you need a copy of the assets leaflet for your area, please contact either your peer support coordinator or the ABA-feed research team aba-feedstudy@contacts.bham.ac.uk

The leaflet can be forwarded on to the women you are supporting via WhatsApp or email. We can provide printed copies if you are meeting in person.

It is important that the assets leaflet is only shared with women who are in the intervention arm of the ABA-feed study.

Please only share the assets leaflet with women who you are supporting in the ABA-feed study.

Please ask women not to share the assets leaflet with friends.
