RFA Training

Alongside the RABBIT trial training, an RFA Accreditation pathway has been designed as part of the RABBIT trial.

For non-RFA sites, clinicians will be expected to undergo this pathway to start performing RFA on trial participants.

Those clinicians who are already authorised to carry out RFA at their Trust, as evidenced on the SSDL, will be exempt from following the training in the RABBIT RFA Accreditation pathway.

Clinicians following the RABBIT RFA Accreditation pathway, or wishing to view the training videos, can access the training using the link below:

Associate PI (API) Scheme

The Rabbit Trial is now registered with the NIHR API Scheme!

The API Scheme is a six month in-work training opportunity, open to all healthcare professionals who aim to start their research career and gain practical experience in working on, and delivering an NIHR portfolio trial under the mentoriship of a local Principal Investigator (PI).

In addition, the NIHR and Royal Colleges will endorse the certification of Associate PI status – giving APIs formal recognition of engagement in NIHR Portfolio research studies.

For more information about the API scheme, speak to the Principal Investigator at your Site or visit the NIHR website
