Videos 

The BIFoR video playlist is available on the University of Birmingham's YouTube Channel.

Virtual BIFoR is now available to the public. Visitors to the site can explore the BIFoR FACE facility. Clicking on the yellow dots will either provide written information or a video about the experiment. Clicking on a question mark leads to an education resource such as a dendrometer dataset investigating how elevated carbon dioxide affects tree growth or a task looking at how fungal pathogens will respond to climate change. 

A 360 degree panorama of root systems, created by Clare Ziegler  one of our PhD students using images taken from a minirhizotron camera.

3D models of the BIFoR FACE Facility woodland, Mill Haft are also available.  These were created by flying a 15kg drone, nicked named "Big Tony" above the canopy.

BIFoR Director Prof Rob MacKenzie, took part in a TedX event at University of Birmingham during February 2019. His talk, "Are we making a better future for forests" is available to watch online.

BIFoR Director, Prof Rob MacKenzie, took part in the podcast "Reasons to be Cheerful" with Ed Miliband and Geoff Lloyd, Episode 97 "Treedistribution"

Birmingham Tree People have also interviewed Rob MacKenzie and Liam Crowley. Rob talks about "BIFoR FACE and initial results" and Liam talks about "Insects and Trees"
