Politics, policies & everyday experiences of migration & integration

Immigration policies and citizenship laws impact our everyday lives with borders crossing our everyday existence. This research explores the everyday practice of borders and how dynamics of racialisation impact individuals and communities in the family and home, work and in school and in higher education. In this research stream we explore the economics of migration, refugee education and integration through the prism of intersectionality. Our staff have specific specialisation in the experiences of LGBTQI communities, unaccompanied minors and survivors of trafficking and sexual violence.
