Symbiosis network
Symbiosis was established in 2018 through a public colloquium at the Naturhistorisches Museum in Vienna and a conference at Ryerson University and the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto. It was officially launched in May 2019 with a conference at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin.
Following conferences at the Hall of Biodiversity in Porto, Oxford University Museum of Natural History and the Muséum nationale d’Histoire naturelle in Paris, we will be returning to Austria for our next conference on Envisioning Natural Histories from 3-7 November 2025 at the Naturhistorisches Museum in Vienna, the Haus der Natur in Salzburg and the Schloss Ambras in Innsbruck.
