The University of Birmingham is leading and co-creating research to address the reality of climate change and promote sustainability through transforming health, environment and society. The Birmingham Institute of Sustainability and Climate Action (BISCA) can provide support and expertise to organisations engaging with environmental projects and sustainable working practices. 

 IGI Institute for Global Innovation At the Institute for Global Innovation (IGI), our aim is to inspire, support and deliver world-leading, multidisciplinary research that addresses the world’s most pressing challenges.  Race-to-Zero Race To Zero Campaign With goals of attaining net zero Carbon for Scopes 1&2 by 2035 and Scope 3 by 2045 in the Sustainability pillar, the University has signed up to the UN Race to Zero global campaign. Race To Zero's aim is to rally leadership and support from businesses, cities, regions, investors for a healthy, resilient, zero carbon recovery that prevents future threats, creates decent jobs, and unlocks inclusive, sustainable growth.
