Join Dr Yang Xia for this exciting lecture on demystifying the process of publishing articles in the journal "Nature".

Dr Yang Xia will give us a lecture on insider’s perspectives on publishing in Nature research journals. She will begin with an introduction to the structure, editorial vision, and scope of Nature research journals, accompanied by illustrative case studies of published articles.

The session will then guide researchers through key aspects of manuscript preparation, including how to craft a compelling narrative, choose impactful topics, and effectively structure each section of a paper. Practical advice on manuscript submission will also be discussed, covering how to write a strong cover letter, navigate the peer review process, and respond to reviewers’ comments. Finally, the talk will address post-submission affairs, such as next steps following acceptance and how to engage constructively with rejection decisions. Time permitting, additional topics of interest to researchers will also be discussed.

After the lecture, we offer a networking opportunity with the Dr Xia. If you have any further questions or ongoing working papers you would like to discuss, please join us.

If you would like to attend this event, please submit the registration form. The form also includes the opportunity to submit questions for the Q & A session in advance of the lecture. The event is free to attend.
