University of Birmingham research is highlighting the plight of the ‘children of war’, raised in post-conflict societies, as well as how societies once ruled by ‘slavery’ are coping with the new tensions caused by the goals and methods of ‘aid’. We are also exploring the global migration crisis and its economic and social effects.
