Join this joint HTI and ITM Seminar with guest speaker Professor John Marshall, to explore the intricacies of tumour invasion, focusing on adhesion modules. This seminar will provide an overview of the research within Professor Marshall's group with the aim of encouraging networking, collaboration and knowledge transfer within the healthcare tech community.

We are delighted to invite you to attend the next HTI/ITM Seminar where we will welcome Professor John Marshall, Professor of Tumour Biology at Queen Mary University of London to provide a talk titled: Why targeting the integrin alpha-v beta-6 may be a valuable therapeutic strategy in some forms of EB.

Professor Marshall studies the biology of tumour invasion with a particular interest in the roles of the adhesion molecules expressed on the cell surface that mediate this process. His group concentrates on the study of integrins that are the principal family of adhesion molecules that mediate interaction between cells and the extracellular matrix (ECM).

The seminar is available both in person and online; it is open to all students, researchers, academics and professional services staff with an interest in healthcare technology research.

No registration required.
