Centre for Modernist Cultures member Dr Nathan Waddell has been awarded a funding stipend from the Harry Ransom Center (University of Texas at Austin), supported by the Alfred A. and Blanche W. Knopf Fellowship.
The stipend will enable Nathan to visit the Center in late 2018 to consult its holdings of archival material by the British painter and writer Wyndham Lewis (1882-1957), whose novel Snooty Baronet (1932) Nathan is researching as part of a scholarly edition contracted to Oxford University Press.
