Pathways of water through urban landscapes

Join Professor Christa Kelleher from Syracuse University for a webinar, part of the University of Birmingham’s World Water Programme.

This is part of a series of events exploring the great water challenges being faced around the globe. Come and take part in the discussions, and hear about the vital water sciences research taking place regionally, nationally and internationally. Discover how the University of Birmingham research community is playing its part. World Water Day 2021 is about what water means to people, its true value and how we can better protect this vital resource.

Professor Christa Kelleher is an Assistant Professor at Syracuse University with shared appointments in Earth Sciences and Civil Engineering.  She earned her BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Lafayette College and her MS and PhD in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University.  After completing her dissertation, she spent time as a postdoctoral associate in the Watershed Hydrology and Biogeosciences Laboratory at Duke University.  Her research interests are at the interfaces between climate, hydrology, humans, and ecology, particularly using observations and mathematical models to investigate the organization of hydrology and water quality across spatio-temporal scales.
