By conducting qualitative studies with employers, managers, and employees, we aim to provide empirical insights into the 4DWW.The findings will contribute to the global discourse on the future of work and inform policy-making for various sectors.

Exploring minority ethnic doctors’ career transitions in medicine

The EMEDCT project examines the careers of minority ethnic doctors. This is a mixed methods study using ‘life course’ analysis of how minority ethnic doctors transition through each stage of a medical career. The findings will increase our understanding of how minority ethnic doctors achieve career success and overcome barriers, and how experiences and strategies differ for doctors from different minority ethnic groups
