Our staged admissions process

Our admissions process enables us to select students based on academic merit and experience.

A staged admissions process is in place for some of the Business School’s full-time 12-month MSc programmes. This means that when you apply for one of our programmes below for September 2022 entry, your application will be considered with all others that have been submitted before that deadline. Therefore you might not hear from us with details of your offer until a few weeks after the deadline has been reached. This enables us to ensure that all applications are considered fairly and equally.

Each year we see a high volume of high quality applications and as places for these programmes are competitive, applicants who demonstrate being able to exceed the minimum entry requirements and have studied at high ranking institutions will be given preference.

For September 2022 entry, the programmes which have a staged admissions process areas are as follows:

Submit your application via the ‘apply now’ button on the relevant coursefinder page. You will be required to pay a £50 non-refundable application fee at this stage.

Please ensure that you submit all of your supporting documents. If you do not supply all of the required documentation at the point of submitting your application this may result in your application being delayed or unsuccessful.

Further information about how to apply can be found on our 'How to apply' page.

Our programmes all have a number of application deadlines each year. We recommend that, as places are subject to availability, you apply early to avoid disappointment. We cannot guarantee that places will be available on your programme of choice throughout the year. In addition, applications received after 1 July 2022 will only be considered if applicants do not require a visa to study in the UK. Please note that MSc Investments is closed to China domiciled applicants from 23.59 (UK time) on 6 May 2022.
