 We offer a wide range of Masters programmes (MSc) in computer science. Our academics carry out exciting research which is ranked 3rd in the UK for GPA and 4* (REF 2021) and we have close links with industry.

We have a suite of programmes that are suitable for students with diverse academic backgrounds. If you have graduating with a degree that isn’t in computer, we have two programmes for you to choose from: MSc Computer Science and MSc Data Science. Our other postgraduate programmes are in more specialised areas that will prepare you for a career in industry or academia.

Our MSc programmes are studied over the course of one year, and are full-time. Teaching typically consists of two semesters of lectures and practical exercises. You are encouraged to apply for the Masters course that best matches your interests and previous academic qualifications.

MRes Natural Computation

You may be interested in a Masters degree by research (MRes). It is designed for students who have found their undergraduate study stimulating and want to learn in-depth about this emerging interdisciplinary field. Applicants need a 2.1 or First in Computer Science/Engineering, or a science/engineering degree with significant computing content and possess competent mathematical skills.
