Computer Science postgraduate taught degree courses

We offer a wide range of Masters programmes (MSc) in computer science. Our academics carry out exciting research which is ranked 3rd in the UK for GPA and 4* (REF 2021) and we have close links with industry.

We have a suite of programmes that are suitable for students with diverse academic backgrounds. If you have graduated with a degree that isn’t in computing, we have two programmes for you to choose from: MSc Computer Science and MSc Data Science. Our other postgraduate programmes are in more specialised areas that will prepare you for a career in industry or academia.

Our MSc programmes are studied over the course of one year, and are full-time. Teaching typically consists of two semesters of lectures and practical exercises. You are encouraged to apply for the Masters course that best matches your interests and previous academic qualifications.
