Shakespeare Institute Research Fellow David Hopes and SI Fellows Tara Hamling and Erin Sullivan have been successful in bidding for AHRC Digital Transformations funding.

Their project, called ‘Digital CoPs and Robbers: Communities of Practice and the Transformation of Research’, will examine how digital technologies influence research choices in the study of Shakespeare. The project will involve the exploration of the performance archives held at The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust  and two workshops with members of different communities of practice from the SBT, Royal Shakespeare Company, academia, and digital industries.
