Masters and Professional Development Programmes
Our taught Masters and Professional Development Programmes (also known as CPD) in the School of Education offer you an opportunity to participate in a distinctive range of courses across a variety of fields of study which are all linked to the research interests of members of staff.
The entry level will depend on your academic qualifications as well as professional experience and for applicants who do not already hold a recognised degree, the appropriate level for entry will be the Undergraduate level. However, there are opportunities for progressing onto Postgraduate Masters level in most programmes.
MA Inclusion
The MA Inclusion is a flexible, part-time distance learning course, designed for those who want to make a difference to the lives of children, young people and adults with diverse needs and in a range of settings. The programme offers 5 pathways, to investigate inclusive practice through multiple lenses and specialisms.
MA Education
The MA Education and MA Education pathways, are a suite of programmes which draw upon the studies and experience of students on the programme to offer solutions to‘real-world’ educational problems.
Sensory programme
The MA/PGDip sensory programme is a flexible part time blended learning programme designed for those who want to make a difference to the lives of children and young people from 0-25 who are deaf, vision impaired or have multi-sensory (deafblindness) impairment. It offers 3 pathways with mandatory and non-mandatory qualifications available:
