A Comparative Study of Resilience in Survivors of War Rape and Sexual Violence: New Directions for Transitional Justice

Headed by Professor Janine Natalya Clark, CSRS is a comparative project aimed at understanding the factors that enable and impede expressions of resilience in survivors of conflict-related rape and sexual violence. Focused on Bosnia-Herzegovina, Colombia and Uganda, the project is seeking to develop an innovative new ecological model of transitional justice that extends the focus beyond individuals.

This project has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement No 724518).
