Using the BEAST system has taught me a lot about the technical side of sound composition. I’ve learned how to manipulate sound in space, create immersive soundscapes, and develop a deeper understanding of how sound interacts with the environment.

Discover where an MA in Music at Birmingham could take you - like William who studied MA Music Composition in 2018. He's now the Principal Audio Designer at Blue Dot Games, a game development studio.

I focused on performance, composition, and a lot of technical audio skills during my degree, which I then carried into my career. Developing these skills was probably the biggest reason I was able to step into audio design within video games.
