      University of Birmingham appoints 125th anniversary academics

      The University is recruiting 125 new Fellows and Chairs in celebration of the our 125th anniversary in 2025. Fellows and Chairs appointed so far include Professor Joy Porter and Dr Hiroki Shin in the Department of History. Professor Joy Porter is a Professor of Indigenous and Environmental History while Dr Hiroki Shin is an Associate Professor in History of Energy and Environmental Humanities.
