
Postgraduate Online Open Week: International student events

To help make your journey to Birmingham as easy as possible, we're hosting online events for international students between Monday 26 to Friday 30 January 2026.
As well as over 100 subject webinars, we are delivering webinars on the essential information for international students.
Our sessions will include: dedicated support for your region and country; information on our £10.5 million's worth of international scholarships; guidance on applying for the Student Route visa; and the career opportunities available to international students during and after your postgraduate studies.

Join our Careers Network webinarCareers Network provides tailored support to help international students plan their careers in the UK or globally. This includes pre-arrival guidance on the UK job market, help finding work experience and internships, careers events focused on applications, employer expectations and visas, and access to online career learning resources.
Students can also benefit from lifelong careers advice as alumni, alongside specialist support for global job searching, ensuring international students are well-prepared to develop skills, gain experience, and progress confidently into employment.

We are hosting over 100 subject webinars so you can hear from academics about the course, modules, and opportunities to get involved during your studies. You will also have the chance to talk to current students about their experiences with us, and why they decided that Birmingham was the best place for them.
