Our last Online Open Week ran from Monday 30 January to Friday 3 February.

Sessions included subject-specific talks with Q&As, careers, accommodation, funding and current student sessions. You could choose multiple sessions across the whole week to create a programme of events that were convenient and relevant to you.

All of our sessions are available to browse on our dedicated Postgraduate Online Events Platform as soon as the event is announced. Our Postgraduate Online Open Week will also be hosted on this platform, so it's a good idea to familiarise yourself with the platform ahead of our next open week. To book your sessions, complete the form on our online open week page.

Once you have identified the sessions you are interested in, you can book the sessions using your personalised RSVP link, which you will have received on booking your place on our Postgraduate Open Week.

You can search the name of the session, select 'Register', confirm by clicking 'Book now' and continue until you have chosen all the sessions you'd like to attend.

To help you find the sessions you are interested in, type the full name of the session as it is written on our website on the timetable. Common search terms, such as Masters/taught or PhD/research are also useful in finding sessions you might be interested in. It's worth trying a few keywords in your subject area. For example, if you are searching for a session about 'Accounting', try related searches like 'Finance' if no sessions come up for your search term.

We will send an email or SMS notification (if you have opted into this) with a link to the Zoom webinar, just prior to the event start time time. Follow our guidance on accessing your sessions on the day to ensure you don't miss the events. You can amend your bookings at any time via this same RSVP link, up to an hour before the event start time.

To book your place at our Postgraduate Online Open Week, please use the form on the page below to register and we will email you with your RSVP page.

To get into your live talks on the day, simply load up your RSVP page which will be available in emails sent to you 30 minutes prior to the event.

At the appropriate time, click ‘check-in’ and you will be shown the URL to take you to your session. Simply single-click the URL and enter the talk.

Where you have provided us with a mobile number during booking, you can also expect a text message 15 minutes before your session as a reminder to log in, so that you have time to log in to your RSVP page and check-in for the session before it starts.

Please note, if you have signed up for a drop in session this may be in the format of a Zoom meeting where you are put in a waiting room and then let in for an individual conversation with the academic. Depending on the session, there may be a short wait before you are let in for this conversation. If you join the drop in session and don't want to wait in the waiting room, you can re-join at any point during the scheduled session time.
