Postgraduate ambassador opportunities
As a Postgraduate Student Ambassador or Content Creator, you can earn money alongside your postgraduate degree and gain professional skills attractive to many employers.
What opportunities are available?
There are two types of postgraduate ambassador role you can apply for:
- Student Ambassadors: Support our Postgraduate Open Days and events throughout the year. Take the lead on campus tours. Answer questions from prospective students about postgraduate life at Birmingham. Applications are open until Monday 13 October.
- Content Creators: Film and edit videos to promote the University to prospective students. Write blogs about your student life. Apply to be a Postgraduate Content Creator and become one of the faces of Birmingham. Applications are now closed for 2025/26.
Both roles allow you to earn a part-time income and gain valuable experience for your future.
These roles have given me the chance to connect with students, share useful information, and showcase real experiences. I really enjoyed being able to support new and prospective postgraduates through these opportunities. It’s also given me a sense of connection and purpose, knowing that my work can inspire others.
