Our careers service will guide you as you explore your career options, assist you in finding work experience and placements, help develop your skills and support you through the application process.

We offer funded work experience opportunities across a range of sectors as well as internship opportunities that are exclusive to our students.

You’ll have access to our mentoring schemes – matching you with the most suitable expert in your sector of interest and then support on your career journey.

Our students and recent graduates have direct access to hundreds of employers through our Careers Fairs, workshops and presentations – where you’ll get the latest on what opportunities are available.

With our careers planning and application workshops, drop-ins, and one-to-one appointments, you’ll get the support you need to ensure your application is the best it can be, from help on a CV or cover letter to setting you up with a LinkedIn profile and interview preparation.

If you’re more interested in setting up your own business or going freelance after university, then we have a dedicated team of experts who can provide all the information and resources you need to help you get started.

Our award-winning Personal Skills Award will help you to develop and articulate your skills, preparing you for graduate life.

The Global Challenge programme offers our students the opportunity to access funding and training to spend a summer as an intern in a global company, where you will gain real-life industry level work experience while developing your skills.
