I am currently taking part in a 12-month Social Media Industrial Placement at National Grid, creating content and managing communities across channels with over 700,000 followers combined.
I travel to sites across the UK for production days, filming interviews, explainer videos, trends and photography, which I then edit and schedule across Instagram and YouTube.
Day to day, I respond to comments, help customers, and work with a network of engineers I’ve built to explain technical topics simply. I also write LinkedIn posts, upload YouTube adverts, work with marketing agencies and get to attend events. It’s been a brilliant mix of creative and strategic work!
