We have a wide range of on-campus activities designed to encourage students, from groups under-represented in the medical profession but with the potential to succeed, to consider a career in medicine and support their application to a Russell Group University. It is our aim that at least 10% of the intake onto our undergraduate MBChB programme is students who come through Access to Birmingham (A2B) or Routes to Professions (R2P). We run activities aimed at students who are particularly interested in pursuing a career in medicine. These are outlined below.
