Postgraduate Social at the Guild of Students

Join your Postgraduate Officer at the Guild of Students for a Welcome social for postgraduate students who have just arrived - and any other postgraduates who want to come along! Campus League taster sessions
Week commencing 25 September
If you're interested in joining Campus League, but need a team to play with, join one of Sport & Fitness' taster sessions to find your new team mates! There are taster sessions for 6-a-side and 11-a-side football, hockey, netball and basketball. Find out more.
Campus tours
Monday 25 - Friday 29 September, departing at 11:00 and 14:00, meet outside the Main Library
Our campus tours will carry on through Week 1, whether you've just arrived or want a refresher. No need to book - just come along and meet outside the Main Library. Tours depart at 11:00 and 14:00 each weekday.
UGS: Getting started as an international PGT

Pause@Uni drop-in
Thursday 28 September, 11:00-17:00, No. 1 Lodge, North Gate
Need somewhere to take some time out and chat to someone who will listen? Pause@Uni's weekly drop-ins offer a place for students under the age of 25 to chat about anything that's worrying you. The friendly team of trained and experienced workers are on hand every Wednesday and Thursday through term-time for anyone who needs a listening ear - find them in the Lodge (little house) next to North Gate.
Meet support teams at the Language Café
Friday 29 September, 14:00-16:00, Library Lounge, Main Library
Moving to a new country for study is exciting, but we know it can be challenging too! Find out about support available from our Community Safety Team, BIA Academic English, Pause@Uni, and meet some of your Student Experience Officers at the first Language Café of the year. Organised by Alice, your International Officer at the Guild of Students, the Café is an opportunity to try out your language skills with other international students in a friendly environment. Language Cafes take place throughout the year, so come along and see what they’re like! Find out more.
